Advanced Liver and Gallbladder Cleansing Protocol

Andreas Moritz Method Improved with Detailed Instructions

Essential Supplements

Malic Acid (450mg per capsule)
Function: Softens gallstones, detoxifies hepatocytes, and improves cellular energy production
Notes: Use encapsulated form to avoid dental erosion
Epsom salts (800mg per capsule)
Function: Dilation of bile ducts, muscle relaxation, and intestinal cleansing
Notes: Capsule format reduces nausea compared to liquid solution
Extra Virgin Olive Oil (125ml or 1/2 cup)
Function: Stimulates maximum gallbladder contraction for the expulsion of gallstones
Variations: It can be substituted with virgin coconut oil for those who do not tolerate olive oil.
Pink Grapefruit Juice (180ml or 3/4 cup)
Function: Natural emulsifier, stimulates liver enzymes and improves flavor
Alternatives: Lemon and orange mixture (1:3) for those allergic to grapefruit

Preliminary Preparation (1 week prior)

  • Follow an alkaline diet for 7 days prior (80% raw vegetables)
  • Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and dairy completely.
  • Hydration with 2-3L of water daily with lemon
  • Consider a coffee enema 2 days prior for colon cleansing

Detailed Phased Protocol

Phase 1 - Preparation (Days 1-6)

Daily Instructions:

  1. Upon waking: Drink 300ml of warm water with 1/2 squeezed lemon
  2. Breakfast: Fresh fruit (apples, pears) or green smoothie (spinach, apple, ginger)
  3. Malic Acid: 1 capsule of 450mg with breakfast and 1 with lunch (increase to 2 capsules per dose from day 3)
  4. Lunch/Dinner: Large salads with bitter leaves (arugula, dandelion), quinoa or brown rice, and steamed vegetables (not mandatory, but recommended)
  5. Afternoon: Boldo or milk thistle infusion
  6. Before bed: 1 tablespoon of olive oil with a few drops of lemon juice (optional for sensitivity)

Optional recommendations (not mandatory):

  • Water Enema: Perform 1-2 enemas daily with warm water (ideally after morning bowel movement)
  • Lymphatic Drainage: Self-massage of the abdomen with castor oil at night
  • Infrared Sauna: 20-30 minute sessions to mobilize toxins (days 3, 5 and 6)
Phase 2 - Cleaning Day (Day 7)

Exact Schedule:

  1. 7:00-10:00: Fasting or light breakfast (cooked oatmeal with applesauce). No fats, proteins, or refined sugars.
  2. 10:00-14:00: Water fast. Only water with lemon or mild herbal teas (chamomile, lemon balm)
  3. 14:00: First dose of Epsom salts: 4 capsules of 800mg (3.2g total) with 250ml of warm water.
  4. 16:00: Optional: Coffee enema to stimulate liver detoxification
  5. 18:00: Second identical dose of Epsom salts (4 capsules)
  6. 21:30: Prepare final mixture: 125ml olive oil + 180ml grapefruit juice in a jar. Shake vigorously for 1 minute
  7. 10:00 PM: Drink the mixture while standing next to the bed. Immediately lie down on your right side with your knees bent for at least 30 minutes.

Advanced Expulsion Technique:

After lying down, perform deep diaphragmatic breathing exercises (inhale for 5 seconds, hold for 5 seconds, exhale for 10 seconds) for 10-15 minutes. This generates intra-abdominal pressure that facilitates the expulsion of kidney stones.

Phase 3 - Recovery (Days 8-9)

Post-Cleaning Instructions:

  1. Tomorrow, Day 8: Upon waking, take 4 Epsom salt capsules with lukewarm water. After 2 hours, take another 4 Epsom salt capsules; by this time, your calculations should begin to appear.
  2. Breakfast: Freshly squeezed juice (carrot, apple, ginger) or papaya.
  3. Lunch: Introduce foods in this order: fruits → cooked vegetables → grains → lean proteins (day 9)
  4. Hydration: Coconut water (recommended) and hepatoprotective infusions (milk thistle, turmeric)
  5. Activity: Gentle 20-30 minute walk. Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours.

Results Analysis:

  • Examine stool in a strainer to identify gallstones (green, brown, or white)
  • Record the quantity, size, and characteristics of the ejected calculations
  • Observe improvements in digestion, energy levels, and mental clarity

Complementary Enema Protocol

Option 1: Coffee Enema (Recommended day 6 and day 7 at 4:00 PM)

  1. Prepare 1 liter of organic coffee (2 tablespoons of coffee in 1L of boiled water, strain and cool to body temperature)
  2. Use professional enema equipment (preferably a 2L bag with tube and cannula)
  3. Lie on your right side, retain fluid for 12-15 minutes before defecating

Option 2: Herbal Enema (Days 3 and 5 of preparation)

Mix chamomile infusion, calendula and liquid chlorophyll (1L total). Let stand for 10 minutes.

Note: Enemas are not mandatory but significantly increase the effectiveness of the protocol by reducing the reabsorption of toxins.

Absolute Contraindications

  • Confirmed biliary obstruction or advanced liver cirrhosis
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding (Epsom salts can induce labor)
  • Chronic kidney disease (risk of hypermagnesemia)
  • active ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease
  • Allergy to citrus fruits or sulfates

Common Side Effects:

Mild nausea (34% of cases), Epsom salt diarrhea (expected), transient cramps (18% of cases), post-cleansing fatigue (normal for 24-48h).

Post-Cleaning Maintenance Protocol

First 2 Weeks:

  • Supplement with high-potency probiotics (50-100 billion CFU/day)
  • Take 1 tablespoon of olive oil with lemon on an empty stomach
  • Daily infusion of milk thistle + dandelion

Recommended Frequency:

First cleaning: Wait 4 weeks before repeating. Then every 3-6 months as needed. Do not perform more than 4 cleanings per year.

Signs to Repeat:

Light stools, heavy digestion, whitish tongue, morning fatigue, pains in the right hypochondrium.

Registration and Tracking

Keep a detailed journal that includes:

  • Exact time of each step of the protocol
  • Physical and emotional reactions
  • Characteristics of the ejected stones (color, size, quantity)
  • Changes in pre-existing symptoms
  • Photos of the results (optional but useful for follow-up)
