HEAVY METAL DETOX PROTOCOL (For children aged 5 to 10 years)
This protocol is designed to facilitate the mobilization, chelation, and elimination of heavy metals such as mercury, lead, arsenic, and cadmium, using specific and essential supplements.
🔸 PROTOCOL OBJECTIVES:
- Mobilize heavy metals stored in deep tissues (brain, liver, kidneys, fatty tissue).
- Promote safe elimination through urine and feces.
- Support liver and kidney function to protect organs during detox.
- Rebalance essential minerals displaced by toxic metals.
🟢 PHASE 1: PREPARATION (WEEK 1)
During this first phase, liver, kidney and antioxidant function are optimized to prepare the body before mobilizing heavy metals.
🔹 1. Essential Minerals
- Dosage: 1 capsule with breakfast and 1 capsule with dinner.
- Objective: Provides essential minerals such as Zinc, Selenium, Magnesium and Iodine that protect tissues against heavy metal toxicity and prevent deficiencies that facilitate greater absorption of toxins.
🔹 2. N-Acetylcysteine (NAC)
- Dosage: 1 capsule (600mg) once a day.
- Directions for administration: Take with a large glass of water, preferably on an empty stomach or between meals.
- Objective: To increase glutathione production, strengthen antioxidant protection, and prepare the liver for the increase in circulating toxins during detox.
Duration: 7 days.
🟢 PHASE 2: MOBILIZATION AND CHELATION (WEEKS 2 to 5)
During this phase, specific chelating compounds (ALA) are added, in addition to maintaining NAC and Essential Minerals to protect and optimize elimination.
🔹 1. Alpha-Lipoic Acid (RS-ALA)
- Dosage: 300mg every 6 hours (3 times a day).
- Method of administration: Preferably on an empty stomach (at least 30 minutes before meals) to increase its absorption and effectiveness.
- Objective: To mobilize heavy metals, especially mercury and lead, including brain deposits, due to their ability to cross the blood-brain barrier. Their antioxidant effect simultaneously protects tissues during chelation.
🔹 2. N-Acetylcysteine (NAC)
- Dosage: 600mg twice a day (morning and night).
- Administration method: Keep the dose away from food, with plenty of water.
- Objective: To maintain high glutathione availability, enhancing liver detoxification and antioxidant protection during intense toxin mobilization.
🔹 3. Essential Minerals
- Dosage: 1 capsule twice a day (breakfast and lunch, with food).
- Objective: To replace minerals displaced by heavy metals, prevent critical deficiencies and strengthen mineral balance.
Duration: 4 weeks.
🟢 PHASE 3: CONSOLIDATION AND MAINTENANCE (WEEKS 6 to 8)
This phase focuses on consolidating the results, continuing antioxidant protection, and fully restoring mineral and antioxidant balance after chelation.
🔹 1. Alpha-Lipoic Acid (RS-ALA)
- Dosage: Reduce to 100mg twice a day.
- Method of administration: On an empty stomach or separately from meals.
- Objective: To continue mobilizing residual metals more gently and maintain antioxidant protection for the brain and liver.
🔹 2. N-Acetylcysteine (NAC)
- Dosage: Maintain 600mg twice a day.
- Objective: To continue promoting glutathione to optimize final elimination and protect against free radicals generated during prolonged toxin mobilization.
🔹 3. Essential Minerals
- Dosage: 2 capsules daily (breakfast and lunch).
- Objective: To maintain mineral balance and prevent reabsorption of heavy metals during the final phase.
Duration: 3 weeks.

Complete protocol divided into phases with daily schedule and supplement compatibilities
🔵 PHASE 1 – PREPARATION (Week 1)
Objective: To optimize liver, kidneys and antioxidant system before initiating heavy metal mobilization.
🕗 MORNING (ON AN EMPTY STOMACH)
-
N-Acetylcysteine (NAC) – 1 capsule (600mg)
➤ Take with a large glass of water, at least 30 minutes before breakfast.
🍽️ BREAKFAST
-
Essential Minerals – 1 capsule
➤ Take with the first meal of the day.
🍽️ DINNER
-
Essential Minerals – 1 capsule
➤ Take with dinner to cover nighttime mineral requirements.
📆 Duration: 7 days.
🔵 PHASE 2 – MOBILIZATION AND CHELATION (Weeks 2 to 5)
Objective: To release heavy metals from tissues and facilitate their elimination.
🕗 MORNING (ON AN EMPTY STOMACH)

Alpha-Lipoic Acid (RS-ALA) – 1 dose (300mg)
➤ Take with water upon waking. -
N-Acetylcysteine (NAC) – 1 capsule (600mg)
➤ Take 30 minutes after ALA, but before breakfast if possible.
🍽️ BREAKFAST

📆 Duration: 3 weeks. The full protocol can then be evaluated for repetition after a 4-week break if exposure or symptoms persist.
🟢 GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS DURING THE PROTOCOL
- Hydration: It is essential to increase water consumption (at least 2 liters per day) to promote kidney elimination and prevent adverse symptoms.
- Dietary fiber: Incorporate fiber-rich foods such as psyllium, chia seeds, or green vegetables that act as natural "binders" in the intestine, capturing toxins for fecal expulsion.
- Additional binders (optional): Consider supplements such as activated charcoal or zeolite if mild digestive or neurological symptoms occur during the detox.
- Clean diet: Avoid processed foods, refined sugars, alcohol, excessive caffeine, and potentially contaminated foods (large predatory fish such as big tuna, shark, swordfish).
- Sauna or moderate physical activity: Promotes lymphatic circulation and elimination of toxins through sweat and breathing.
- Adequate rest: Sleep between 7 and 9 hours, as many liver detoxification processes occur during deep sleep.
🟢 IMPORTANT NOTES
- Results are usually clearly observed between weeks 3 and 5, although some initial symptoms may occur during the first few days of chelation due to the mobilization of toxins.
- In case of discomfort (headaches, fatigue, dizziness), temporarily reduce the ALA dose, increase hydration, and consider adding a binder (activated charcoal).
- It is important to complete the protocol for a deep and lasting detoxification, although some benefits may be felt from the first few weeks.
This protocol is effective and safe as long as it is followed in an organized manner and properly supervised.
